In southern Argentina and Chile, recent summer fires are actively destroying many hectares of native forest, while also harming animals and families living there. I was born and raised near the area in Argentina and I used to go to the mountains with my family every summer.
I made a small comic hoping it might help raise awareness about the issue. It shares my experience and highlights how amazing it used to be to visit the mountains. But now, every summer, fires break out. Blame it on climate change and real estate speculation.
